Mission and Goals

The mission of our network has not changed since 1999. People in Connection was designed to assist people in business in the Golden Horseshoe with their business promotion and education. It is our goal to help our members succeed through our online Network and/or at local network events.

The phrase we coined, "Network in your Nightwear", gives business owners that may be too busy to attend events, the opportunity to network and connect virtually anytime, any day of the week from the comfort of their home or office, by submitting events, articles, updates to their listing, monthly specials, posting to the classified sites, refer other members and more.

With our online Internet TV show, People in Connection, and our e-newsletter publications, we spread your information throughout the region to our rapidly growing mailing list. We look forward to promoting your business! We accept Credit Cards (Visa, M/C), Paypal, cheques and cash!

For those that run registered charitable organizations, your membership is FREE!

Non-profit organizations, ask us how you can get up to 50% off your membership! Contact us for more information.

You may either apply and pay online for your membership, or you may fill in the application form and submit your payment via regular mail services.

2. A five minute appearance on the People In Connection Internet TV show.
3. Your five minute appearance on the People in Connection show posted beside your listing after the show. (160 X 120)
   NOTE: If you join us and already have a short video you would like added instead of your interview, there is no additional fee as long as the video is in Flash streaming format and ready to be uploaded to the site. For more extensive videos you may have and/or videos that need to be formatted for the site, please contact us for more information and pricing.
4. Free promotion for member events, articles and announcements on the Monthly Newsletter and the People in Connection Show. (Ask us about our Media Sponsorship package for your events)
5. Discounted prices at People In Connection network events and notification of special offers or opportunities for members.
6. The Flash video available to be linked on your site for free. (We will provide the files you require. If you would like us to insert the html on your site the cost is $25. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the flash video without our promotion and high quality copy in WMV on DVD after the show has aired. (Only $99 + Taxes - Note the value of these videos as a stand alone product is $350 and up)

Expert Membership Benefits & Features
($599+GST annually - or Upgrade from basic $399+GST)

The criteria for our Expert Membership application is that you must have a minumum of 3 years PERSONAL experience in your business category. You do not need to be the owner of a business BUT if you are an agent etc.. please ensure you have clearance from your parent company to apply. Experts must also be able to commit to answer questions online weekly. (vacation time or extenuating circumstances excepted)

EXPERT CATEGORIES ARE EXCLUSIVE!!! Here's what you get:

A full Expert Page, with your picture, description, contact information, Questions and Answers section and the opportunity to post your own articles on the page. We also post a copy of your 5 minute video interview on this page after the show has aired.

Detailed business listing including your photo or business logo and description of your business at the top of your business category in the general directory.

NOTE: For those that join us and already have a video they would like added to this listing, there is no additional fee as long as the video is in flash streaming format and ready to be uploaded to the site.
